Sad, happy, excited, hopeful…all at the same time. That’s how I feel. Sad because this dear friend, Becky, is retiring. She is the first person I hired when business began 11 1/2 years ago. It was the best business decision I made, and a darn good personal decision as well. There has been an awful lot of “water under the bridge” in that time for both of us. I can’t imagine anyone who would have taken better care of our customers than she has. Thank you, my friend! Happy, excited and hopeful all describe how I feel for her as she begins the next chapter of her life, spending more time with the family and friends she loves so well. May 29th is her last official day in the shop, and I wanted you all to know so you can stop by to wish her well. She’ll be back to help occasionally but not in the same, dependable way you’ve been used to. Please join me in congratulating her and showing appreciation for a job very well done.
